On the back of a number of recent client wins, The BIG Partnership is creating a new role within its digital division.

We’re looking for a talented and driven individual with a strong passion for social media.

Depending on skills and experience, the successful candidate will join as either a Digital Account Executive or Senior Digital Account Executive. The role is based in BIG’s Glasgow office.

Bit about us – The BIG Partnership is ranked as the largest PR agency in the UK outside London (PR Week Annual Top 150 Survey, April 2010). We have almost 100 staff across 4 offices and service over 300 clients right across the UK.

This role will involve:

  • developing and delivering highly creative and effective social media campaigns for some of the UK’s leading brands
  • managing online communities on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.
  • campaign analysis and reporting
  • forming strong working relationships with clients
  • liaising with and briefing internal designers and developers
  • working closely with existing PR teams
  • regularly attending client facing meetings
  • supporting the team with admin related tasks
  • developing and delivering new business proposals and pitches
  • staying at the forefront of digital and social media practices and trends

Essential skills

  • A passion for digital & social media (and an ability to demonstrate this)
  • Excellent organisational, project management and problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Buckets of drive and enthusiasm
  • First class writer
  • Strong presenter
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to apply creative thinking to projects
  • A highly proactive approach to working and learning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Educated to degree level (preferable, but not essential)

Preferable skills

  • Knowledge of social media engagement,  mobile and video marketing
  • An understanding of SEO and PPC
  • Knowledge of marketing or PR
  • Experience of blogging/writing for the web
  • Knowledge of web analytics programs
  • Client handling/customer service skills
